It looks like my parents took a trip to Mt. Washington in 1970. Here are a few photos from the journey. It seems that the road up to the top wasn't paved yet.

A slide-scanning project. There are boxes and boxes of family slides in the basement. This could take a long time.
What's it all about?
As I work through scanning and archiving the family slides I'll post some of the fun and interesting slides here. All of these images were shot by my father with the exception, naturally, of photos in which he appears. Those, I'm assuming, were shot by my mother.

UPDATE: 2/14/08. I just changed the settings to allow comments from anyone, rather than just people with gmail accounts. So ... comment away! Tell me what facts I've gotten wrong. Add your own memories.
